Bay Sailing with George Miller

I was recently shanghai'ed to crew on a 42' Benneteau sailing out of Sausalito.

The Mission

To boldly go where no dog park crew has gone before.

The Gear

A 42' Benneteau, chartered from Modern Sailing School & Club, Sausalito, CA.

The Skipper

George "The Mayor" Miller

The Crew

A motley collection at best. This gang will be lucky if everyone survives and no one has permanent or life-threatening injuries

Our goal- to keep up with the America's Cup boat-  good luck with that!

George gives Benjamin some points on where to point the boat.

Dan ("the man") gives him more pointers.

Stan's wife Denise and Diane cruising :-)

Ron became our expert on tensioning the jib.

George and Beth, taking a break.

Diane, dressed for success.

Dave- chillin'

The aft view, Beth at the helm, rocking at 10 knots (heeled pretty good...!), Sandy (standing), making sure we don't hit anything bigger than us

They even made me (George) drive for a bit.  I did good- i hit nothing!

The whole crew, back at the dock safe and sound.  All in all, a most excellent day on the water- Thank you George!
