Bondo Magic

Back in Carlisle, MA, JJ turned me on to "Home Improvement Putty"; aka, "Bondo". This house provides lots of opportunity to practice with it. This mess was a fake beam sticking out of the house that had been rotting for 30 years. The fascia boards are affected and it's generically a mess. |

I cut a block of wood to fill up some of the missing volume. Then i mixed up a double batch of bondo and glued the whole mess in there. |

Half an house later, I pulled out the temp screws and went after it with a belt sander... |
| Then after a coat of primer, it looks much better and we're done! |  |
