| playland- we took all the outside toys and most of the downstairs toys and put them on the back porch- the kids love it and we can watch them while cooking or cleaning or whatever- perfect! |  |

Even george went in the water (for the first time since his ear surgery) |
| the girls are 3 years, 5 months old. They often sit down at the computer, open a browser, maximize the window and navigate via "Favorites" to pbskids.org... they'll actually spend hours doing this if we let them. we're discussing limiting their internet time (scary to have this conversation at 3.5 years old!) |  |

| Mitchell Park in Palo Alto has a large kiddie playground and we go there several times a week. Here they are playing in the "tunnels", a series of manholes and tunnels cast in concrete... |  |
